Warning:
- Ensure this attachment is tightened securely.
- Ensure the trimmer line is properly positioned within the grass guard and that the line makes contact with the cutting knife on the grass guard when fully extended.
- Only use Prokut Spare Parts in this product. The quality of any other replacement parts is not guaranteed and could lead to damage or injury.
- Always wear personal protective equipment as described in your equipment’s operator manual.
- Always make sure bystanders are at least 15 meters away before operating this product, as flying debris can cause harm.
Steps to Install:
- Remove the Existing Head:
- Using the tools supplied with your equipment, remove the old trimmer head by locking the gearbox and turning the trimmer head off.
- Remove any grass and debris that might interfere with the installation.
- Identify the Correct Adapter:
- Identify the appropriate adapter by fitting it to your trimmer. Ensure it is the correct one for your model.
- Install the New Head:
- Install the selected adapter to the trimmer and tighten securely. Some models may require specific adjustments to ensure interference with the grass guard is minimized.
- Align the arrows on the base and the trimmer head.
- Feed the Trimmer Line:
- Cut a length of trimmer line and feed it directly through the head so that it is protruding equally from both sides.
- As a guide, use 2.4 mm (0.095”) line. Please note that differing line thickness and shape will affect the line capacity.
- Twist to Secure the Line:
- Hold the base and twist the trimmer head to feed the line onto the head. Ensure it is securely in place.
- Final Check:
- Ensure all parts are properly installed and secured.
- Test the trimmer in a safe area to ensure it is working correctly.
